Bachelor of Midwifery
The Bachelor of Midwifery is an internationally recognised degree that prepares you for registration as a professional midwife in New Zealand. It blends theoretical learning with practical, clinical experience from very early in the programme. Graduates meet the competencies required by the Midwifery Council of New Zealand.

The Bachelor of Midwifery isn’t divided into further majors/specialisations — all students complete a unified midwifery pathway designed to lead directly to NZ registration. The focus is on professional practice rather than elective specialisations.

If you plan to study more than three months in NZ, you will require a New Zealand student visa. A student visa allows:
