Bachelor of Design (Honours)

What You Study (Programme Structure)

The Bachelor of Design (Honours) is largely project- and research-based and suitable for students who have already completed an undergraduate design degree. It includes:

Semester 1 & 2 (120 credits total)
Topics may include:

  • Professional Design Context (design practices, frameworks, sustainable design perspectives)

  • Advanced design research and project work

  • Major Design Project / Dissertation

  • Studio-based practice and interdisciplinary design collaborations.

The programme allows deep engagement in chosen design areas such as:

  • Fashion

  • Communication Design

  • Product Design

  • Spatial Design

  • Interaction Design

  • Multimedia or cross-disciplinary projects
