Design and Arts Bachelor's degree/Bachelor's degree

Our world needs graduates who thrive in an era of uncertainty and change. This unique degree combination will provide you with a blended skill-set to best respond to the complexity of contemporary global society.

A double undergraduate degree adds depth to your studies, provides opportunities to explore varied interests, and demonstrates to employers a broader range of skills. With a Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Arts, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy both the deep focus of the Bachelor of Design and the flexibility of the Bachelor of Arts.

The Monash Bachelor of Arts is designed to give you maximum flexibility and choice. You can choose from over 30 areas of study to build a genuinely transformative experience. It includes four career-orientated Professional Futures units through which to develop your unique graduate profile and you'll undertake study in innovation capability, global immersion, intercultural expertise and professional experience, preparing you to live and work in complex and culturally diverse environments. You'll also have access to Monash's Flagship Rich Educational Experiences, a personal curation of experiences focused on the challenges defining our world and future.

Design is a constantly evolving discipline that actively responds to a rapidly changing world. Monash Design challenges students to question their role and contribution to society as future designers with the option to specialise in Collaborative, Communication, Industrial or Spatial Design.
