Fine Art Bachelor's degree

When you study fine art at Monash, you’ll join our creative community. You’ll share spaces with artists, curators, art writers, art historians, printmakers, painters, photographers, designers and more – providing the perfect environment to spark ideas and build your creative network.

Our Bachelor of Fine Art has two specialisations. You'll select one when you apply:

  • Bachelor of Fine Art
  • Bachelor of Art History and Curating

Highly regarded by the arts industry and internationally recognised, our lecturers are renowned practising artists, art historians, curators, and cultural commentators. They are passionate about art and about bringing their innovative practice and industry experience to your education.

Your learning will take place at the Caulfield campus, a creative hub with a rich history going back over a century. Here you'll also find the Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA), the MADA Gallery and the student-run Intermission Gallery; spaces for you to be inspired by, engage with, and where you can practise your skills.
