Industry experience

Work-integrated learning  (WIL)

This course requires you to undertake off-campus industry experience. Industry experience, also known as work-integrated learning (WIL), provides you with opportunities to integrate academic learning with workplace experience.

Through WIL, there will be the opportunity to apply skills and respond to contemporary and future challenges with learning design techniques, ensuring you're job-ready.

The Faculty of Education’s Professional Experience Team will source industry-based placements for Bachelor of Learning Design and Technology students. Students in the Melbourne area can access placements in various workplace settings or virtually. For those students outside of Melbourne, we'll guide you to local opportunities.

An application and interview will be part of the process to ensure a meaningful placement experience.
