Psychology Bachelor's degree (honours year)

This one-year honours course is for those who wish to increase their understanding of theoretical and methodological aspects of research, to develop your analytic, research and communication skills, and to provide you with advanced knowledge in specific areas of the science and practice of psychology.

 

In this course you undertake a supervised research project which aims to provide training in both discipline-specific and generic research skills. You will also complete coursework components designed to expand your knowledge of statistics and the ethics of psychological research and practice, and broaden your understanding of the discipline.

 

This fourth year of study in Psychology course consists of a combination of coursework and research. Many of your lecturers are world leaders in their fields. You'll be exposed to cutting-edge research, often not yet seen in textbooks, giving you the latest information on neuroscience, psychology and mental-health. The Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) as a LEVEL 2 APAC accredited degree.
