Speech Pathology
The Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at Monash University addresses a significant gap in the market for qualified speech pathologists. This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to help with communication and treat eating and drinking disorders.
Our students will learn alongside other allied health students at Monash Peninsula campus who are studying physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and more. This interdisciplinary approach fosters a collaborative learning environment, preparing students for real-world healthcare settings.
Graduates of this course will find career opportunities across the spectrum of health services, from hospitals, aged care facilities, community health services, as well as in the education sector and justice systems. The demand for speech pathologists is growing, making this an excellent career choice.
For students unable to complete the clinical requirements of this course, there is an option to exit early with a Bachelor of Human Science from Monash University.
