This short course is an introduction to community interpreting and covers the fundamental skills and knowledge required to work as an interpreter in Australia. Topics covered include: interpreting fundamentals, skills and techniques, the T&I industry, NAATI certification and testing. The short course will combine presentations from experienced T&I professionals and practical interpreting exercises.
