The Master of Nursing International is a two-year degree that is designed to prepare nurses for professional roles in the health care system. The main objectives of the degree are to provide an academic avenue for professional development, knowledge and the application of evidence-based practice.
The course is designed to build upon the academic strengths of the School of Nursing, including primary health, mental health, aged and dementia care, clinical excellence and research principles and methods. These topics will facilitate an all-round development of health professionals to seamlessly transition into professional roles in the health care system.
The course is delivered via weekly online learning activities in each subject over the course of each semester. It also features intensive face-to-face workshops, which are delivered on-campus each semester.
Please note that there is no clinical placement component in the Master of Nursing International and this course does not lead to eligibility to apply for registration as a nurse in Australia.
