Undergraduate Certificate of Aged Care Health Essentials
Our Aged Care Health essentials course is designed to help you to develop basic knowledge and skills for your role in aged care, or as a carer of an older person at home. This course will increase your understanding of the health and care of older people, and will be attractive to those who work or live with older people requiring care or who are considering working or completing further studies in the aged care sector.
You will learn about the latest understanding of nutrition for older people, wound prevention and care, patient safety, mental health and neurocognitive disorders. The course has been developed by experienced health professionals, educators and researchers.
