Educating the Health Workforce
Throughout your career in health, there will be numerous opportunities to facilitate learning amongst your colleagues and with students.
In the Educating the Health Workforce microcredential, you will examine and describe the learning needs of specific health workforces, integrate theory and learning practices to design health education, apply technologies for effective communication, and understand the importance of considering healthcare users in health education.
You will also develop skills that will enable you to encourage and support learning through mentoring, supervision, and feedback amongst different health practitioners, empowering them to provide contemporary and quality healthcare in the future.
The course is delivered over 12 weeks via a series of self-paced online modules and two 2-day workshops.
Upon successfully completing the course and the assessments, you will receive an Official Academic Transcript and 10 Bond credit points, which are claimable towards a postgraduate degree in Healthcare Innovations.
*The Healthcare Innovations Education Grant applies to this microcredential. The grant is available to new and continuing?healthcare innovations?students in 2023. The grant provides a 20% reduction in tuition fees to eligible students.
