Bachelor of Social Science

The scientific study of society and social relationships lies at the very heart of our humanity and how we co-exist with each other. It can be used to explore some of the world’s greatest challenges, to solve our biggest problems and to create a better future.

Bond University’s Bachelor of Social Science is one of our most flexible study programs where you can design their individual combination of social science study streams, choosing from psychology, counselling interventions and criminology.

You will nominate two key areas of study to form the foundation of your degree and further tailor it with nine electives chosen from subjects offered by any Faculty of the University.

Choose subjects based on your personal interest or career ambitions. With opportunities available to work in health, government, the corporate sector, education, private practice, welfare, law, law enforcement and community settings, you can choose electives from the Faculty of Society and Design. Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, Bond Business School, and Bond Law.

In Bond’s trademark small classes, you will benefit from the personal mentoring offered by your teachers – all of whom are leaders in their respective fields.

The Bachelor of Social Science program encompasses several disciplines including criminology, psychology, counselling and behaviour management. The program allows you to combine subjects to complete a program whose title reflects a specialisation of studies in the social sciences area of the Faculty.
