Direct entry into the Bond Medical Program?is currently only open to Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, holders of an Australian Humanitarian visa and New Zealand citizens (not New Zealand permanent residents).

Pathways available to international students to join the Medical Program include successful completion of the Bond Bachelor of Biomedical Science (in the pre-health professional major), Master of Occupational Therapy, Doctor of Physiotherapy, Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice, or Master of Healthcare Innovations (Bachelor of Biomedical Science as a pre-requisite). Upon completion of one of these degrees, and meeting the minimum required GPA and pre-requisites, students will be eligible to be considered for selection to enter Year 2 of the Bond Medical Program.

International/overseas students International/overseas students at the time of enrolment, may not be automatically entitled to registration, internship and access to a provider number in Australia. 

The Bachelor of Medical Studies is the undergraduate component of the Bond University’s medical program. It consists of eight semesters at the Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7. It is the prerequisite degree for entry into the Bond MD program, which is designed to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and attributes that a doctor requires to safely practise medicine in today’s complex healthcare environment.
