We are Australia's first transdisciplinary sustainability program and the country’s most innovative. We established the program in 1992 and comprehensively revitalised it in 2021, unveiling cutting-edge coursework that tackles the social, cultural, and structural gaps found in most high-level sustainability education around the world. Our graduates learn to think outside the box, work critically, creatively and ethically across diverse knowledge systems and courageously reimagine what is possible.

 

This program teaches you to think through the societal drivers that underpin today’s complex environmental challenges — and their solutions. Our innovative courses provide you with foundational conceptual frameworks and tools, as well as field-based and real-world experience. This will equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to work reflexively and collaboratively in your chosen field of reparative change-making.
