- You don’t even need work experience to commence your postgraduate studies in this degree.
- If you studied your undergraduate degree in a different area of engineering, this degree will allow you to change your career path and specialise in Mechanical Engineering.
- Build on your problem-solving skills and learn more about dynamics, system design, and fluid mechanics. You will study advanced-level mechanical engineering, allowing you to design, inspect, manage and test technologies, systems and procedures.
Further study
When you complete your Graduate Certificate of Professional Engineering you could take the credit from your studies and go on to complete the Graduate Diploma of Professional Engineering. You could even go on to complete the Master of Professional Engineering where you will have the opportunity to do a research project and dissertation to apply your formal knowledge to a real world issue.
Professional accreditation
Graduate Certificate of Professional Engineering is not accredited by any professional bodies other than the University of Southern Queensland. It does however provide a pathway to the Master of Professional Engineering which is provisionally accredited with Engineers Australia for membership as a graduate Professional Engineer.
