Bachelor of Arts (History)

Overview

  • History provides the foundations for interpreting the past and understanding how the past has been reconstructed and debated.
  • As a discipline that intersects across the humanities and social sciences, History will enable you to develop skills in research, critical analysis and methodology, persuasive argument, and communication and written expression.
  • At UniSQ you will explore evidence from the past and our contemporary times to investigate the origins of fundamental issues relevant to us today – race relations, slavery, revolutions, nationalism, women’s experience, culture and ethnicity, social movements, globalisation, politics, war and genocide, and historiography.
