Master of Engineering Technology (Renewable Energy and Electrical Power Systems)

The program covers key areas of electrical circuits, signals and systems, energy conversion, power electronics, power systems, electrical power distribution and protection systems, control systems and renewable energy. The curriculum also covers sensors, artificial perception, and Internet of Things (IoT) in smart energy systems. 

There is a strong focus on research and project-based learning, to apply learned concepts, including an independent research project in final year.

As a graduate, you may seek managerial roles with private consultants, contracting companies, or federal, state and local government organisations. 

Graduates have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills by enrolling in a PhD programme upon successful completion.

A Bachelor of Engineering Science/Technology degree with a minimum 3 years of full-time study in a cognate discipline with credit average, awarded by an Australian university or a recognised overseas equivalent or

A non-accredited (under the Washington Accord) Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree with a minimum of 4 years of full-time study in a cognate discipline with credit average, awarded by an Australian university, or a recognised overseas equivalent

English language requirement
Academic IELTS with an overall band score of 6.0, with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent.
