Master of Engineering Technology (Mechatronics and Industrial Automation)

This course provides a balance in knowledge and skills between the three key areas of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering, with a strong focus on project-based and multidisciplinary learning.

The program provides a balance in knowledge and skills between the three key areas of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering, with a strong focus on project-based and multidisciplinary learning. 

Project-based subjects will provide you with opportunities to exercise your multidisciplinary knowledge to learn and understand mechatronics as a discipline. You will also undertake independent research in your final year.

As a graduate, you may seek managerial roles with private consultants, contracting companies, or federal, state and local government organisations. Significant opportunities for employment exist in Australia, as well as in South-East Asia and throughout the rest of the world.

Graduates have to opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills by enrolling in a PhD programme upon succesfull completion.
