Graduate Certificate of Cybersecurity

This course allows students to identify, demonstrate, diagnose and fix IT security risks in software information systems such as web and desktop applications and internet-based services.
This course will build on a student’s undergraduate STEM qualifications or relevant industry experience. Industry-supported, project-based-learning is a feature of this course with alignment to the anti-virus, penetration testing and web security industries.
The Graduate Certificate of Cybersecurity is an exit point from the Master of Cybersecurity for students who only want a Graduate Certificate in cybersecurity.
Course structure
To qualify for the Graduate Certificate of Cybersecurity, students must complete 8 units (100 credit points) as follows:

The Graduate Certificate of Cybersecurity consists of 100 credit points. A standard annual full-time load comprises 100 credit points and a part-time load comprises 50 credit points. The volume of learning of the Graduate Certificate of Cybersecurity is typically one year.
