• Professional placement is subject to important restrictions for international students. Swinburne's current Bachelor of Health Science handbook explicitly states that international students holding a Student visa cannot undertake professional placement in this course due to government regulation.
• Therefore, although Swinburne's general course information describes 6- or 12-month professional placement opportunities, an international Student visa holder should not assume that this placement option is available. The standard 300-credit-point degree should be planned without assuming access to the professional placement option.
• Maximum academic credit that can be granted toward the Bachelor of Health Science is 150 credit points, normally equivalent to 12 units.
