PDC71382 - Finding and Evaluating Scholarly Research
Research is an important part of all higher education studies. This online micro-credential will explore how to approach research and provides guidelines on how to effectively plan your research tasks and locate scholarly sources. This micro-credential will introduce you to the RAOC (Relevance, Authority, Objectivity, Currency) framework to refine your searches and determine if researched sources are suitable for academic purposes.
Students who successfully complete the CQUniversity School of Access Education's Preparation Skills for University set of 9 micro-credentials, may receive a unit exemption from the equivalent CL03 Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) unit with CQUniversity.
