This online micro-credential will explore what to expect from the higher education experience and some of the ‘big picture’ issues that influence your success as a university student. This micro-credential provides an understanding of learning styles, personal responsibilities, and strategies to help you maintain study habits that are Creative, Reflective, Effective, Active and Motivated (CREAM) (Cottrell 2013).

 

Students who successfully complete the CQUniversity School of Access Education's Preparation Skills for University set of 9 micro-credentials, may receive a unit exemption from the equivalent CL03 Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) unit with CQUniversity.

This online micro-credential provides a digital badge which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.
