BACHELOR OF ACCOUNTING/BACHELOR OF BUSINESS
The Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business gives you the opportunity to increase your employability by developing knowledge and skills in both accounting and business. The Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business provides you with a degree that is accredited by CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and meets the associate membership requirements of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).
In addition, you will gain exposure to accounting theory, accounting standards and business law relevant to the financial records of Australian companies.

COURSE STRUCTURE
You will complete 32 units/192 credit points which include 20 core unit, one eight-unit major in marketing and one four-unit minor in either human resource management, liberal studies or startups and entrepreneurship.

Majors and Minors
Marketing major
Excel with a versatile skillset valued across all industries as you learn to successfully connect with customers and implement demand-generation marketing activities. You'll explore consumer behaviour and the broader marketing mix plus, examine the importance of digital integration. To complement your skills in delivering creative strategies, you'll also perform market research, to understand insights and analytics to inform marketing decision-making.
Human Resource Management minor
Gain exposure to the core functions of talent recruitment and retention. You will also develop insight into conflict and negotiation as well as learn perspectives on change management within an organisation.
Liberal Studies minor
This option enables you to compile a Minor consistent with an area of interest and/or career/profession requirements not already covered in the existing Majors and Minors. The Course Advice Team will assist you in building your study plan with units at the appropriate AQF level."
Startups and Entrepreneurship minor
Familiarise yourself with key factors for entrepreneurial success and the fundamentals of fostering start-ups, from planning and financing to managing new business or social ventures.
