Bachelor of Communication (Journalism)

Overview

In the Bachelor of Communication (Journalism), you will learn how to create high quality journalism which will be broadcast or published in the City Journal, Channel 31 and RRR.

This degree is highly regarded by the news industry for its blend of theory and practice. By the end of your studies, you will have the practical and theoretical knowledge to begin a career in journalism, in Australia or abroad, and be able to show employers evidence of your skills and achievements with a professional portfolio of published work.

Alumni are employed in all major news organisations in Australia and international news agencies.

As a graduate of this degree, you will be prepared for an entry level position as a journalist, or well-equipped to pursue roles such as corporate communication specialist, media advisor and content producer.
