Our Computing degree is one of our most flexible programmes of study. You’ll learn how to design and build software that is both robust and reliable, as well as attractive to use. The course covers a range of topics in both the disciplines of computing and Information Systems, from software engineering to cyber security, and web development. You’ll be encouraged to work with others as part of a development team, with the emphasis being on honing your practical skills.

 

In the first year of the course, you'll study alongside students on our Computer Science and Software Engineering courses. These courses have a common first year, before moving on to cover different areas in subsequent years. If you find in your first year of studies that one area interests you more, you could transfer between courses.
