Why Accounting and Economics?

If you’re going to be an accountant or economist it’s vital you understand how organisations are financed and managed. That’s what’s at the core of our degree. We’ll look at how companies are run, and then give you the opportunity to choose particular topics to study in more detail.

You’ll explore subjects such as Financial Accounting, Accountants in Organisations, Advanced Corporate Reporting, Management Accounting, Quantitative Analysis, Econometrics, Micro and Macro Economics, Decision Science and the Legal Environment of Business and Employment for Accountants.
