This course is primarily targeted towards:

  • Any disciplines or professionals who are interested in neurodiversity. 
  • Practitioners working / training in Primary Care
  • Practitioners working / training in Psychiatry and Mental Health
  • Educators in primary, post-primary and further education
  • Senior Managers / Leaders and Human Resource professionals in public and private sector environments
  • Public Health professionals

What will I learn

Trimester 1

Distance and Online learning

Distance and online learning components allow students to further develop their understanding of neurodiversity. Societal perspectives are considered and students explore topics in more in-depth detail, building on prior learning.

In addition, full day workshops are provided to allow students to develop deeper understanding of neurodiversity in a variety of contexts.

Am I eligible for this course?

Applicants should:

  • Hold an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Education, Human Resource Management, Leadership or cognate areas
  • Possess an equivalent professional qualification, or
  • Have relevant clinical experience in mental health, education, social care.
