CyberMACS | Applied Cybersecurity

CyberMACS is an integrated Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree (EMJM) in Applied Cybersecurity delivered by a consortium of three universities:

  1. Kadir Has University – Istanbul, Turkey (coordinating)

  2. SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences – Berlin, Germany

  3. Ss. Cyril and Methodius University (UKIM) – Skopje, North Macedonia

Programme Structure & Specialisations

Year 1 — Foundation (60 ECTS)

  • Core cybersecurity fundamentals at Kadir Has University (Istanbul):

    • Cybersecurity basics and systems

    • Data science and security foundations

    • Cryptography foundations

    • Networks and defensive techniques

    • Winter school week and compulsory 2-month industrial training

    • Summer school or international conference participation

Year 2 — Specialization (30 ECTS) + Thesis (30 ECTS)

You choose one of the following specialization paths:

At SRH Berlin (Germany):

  • Advanced Technologies in Cybersecurity

  • Cyber Security Management

  • Long-Term Practical Training (internship track)

At UKIM (North Macedonia):

  • Web & Cybersecurity

  • Cryptology

Master Thesis (30 ECTS) is completed in the final semester under joint supervision from partner institutions.
