What is the Graduate Studies Preparation Program?
The Graduate Studies Preparation Program is designed to help you adjust to the North American university environment, allowing you to achieve success in a graduate academic environment, and preparing for the IELTS, GRE/GMAT scores needed for graduate admission. Some of the English Language Institute’s well-established network of university and college contacts accept successful completion of the Graduate Studies Preparation Program to satisfy the language requirements of most programs. Students can take the Graduate Studies Preparation Program in two Terms (Term 1 and 2) or join Term 2 directly depending on their language proficiency (see requirements below).
What you will learn
Within four or eight months, the Graduate Studies Preparation Program will improve your English language proficiency to a graduate school level (IELTS 6.5/7/7.5) and help you to apply to graduate studies at Canadian or American universities.
Program Features
Through this program, you will receive support as you work to achieve your academic goals, such as online and face-to-face professional advisory sessions about graduate school applications and pathways.
Students who have successfully completed this program have secured admission to world-famous graduate programs, including those at the Schulich School of Business, McGill University, and the University of Toronto.
