Current trends towards multidisciplinary working in engineering firms drives a need for engineers to become ‘technically fluent’ in a broader range of areas, manage technological convergence, collaborate and problem-solving skills. The purpose of the Graduate Apprenticeship BEng (Hons) Engineering (Design and Manufacture) course is to produce graduates with the skills and knowledge to become professional engineers capable of working in various engineering environments. You will specialise in one of the following streams: computer-aided engineering, control and instrumentation or electrical power engineering design.

The Engineering (Design and Manufacture) Graduate Apprenticeship is co-designed with employers to ensure it meets contemporary industry needs. The School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment has more than 30 years’ experience in delivering engineering education to employees on a day release basis.
