Our BSc (Hons) Economics degree is designed to develop your understanding of the principles, practices, and theories of Economics. You will have access to specialist software to view and analyse real-world data, empowering you to apply theory effectively in real-life scenarios.

 

We are proud to be the first new university to adopt the new CORE curriculum (Curriculum Open-Access Resources in Economics). This curriculum deepens your appreciation for the application of economics to a range of problems in a variety of contexts, including social, political, and environmental issues.

 

As well as the opportunity to gain valuable work experience through a compulsory Experiential Work or Volunteering Opportunities module in the second year, we also offer a year in industry between year two and the final year to boost your employability. Past placements have included Deloitte, Hargreaves Lansdown and the NHS.
