Learn how to inspire, engage and motivate learners in Drama. Use teaching methods that enable pupils to become successful independent learners who are proud to own their work, and excited and challenged by the possibilities that Drama brings in shaping their lives.

 

In subject sessions we model ways to instil a love of learning through practical application and exploration of ideas. This is consistently informed by the context of Drama teaching, which promotes collaboration and discussion. The aim is to create energised and enthused practitioners who consistently reflect on their practice to develop and improve.

 

These sessions are led not only by academic staff but a wide range of Drama experts. You’ll learn how to create a positive and supportive learning environment, and develop strategies to help pupils overcome barriers to learning Drama.
