BSc (Hons) IT Management for Business (Graduate Apprenticeship)

The Graduate Apprenticeship in BSc (Hons) IT Management for Business helps develop your knowledge and understanding of IT in a business and organisational context. You will learn the fundamentals of computing then delve into the intricacies of IT management, such as Business Analysis, Project Management, Service Management and Operations. Through the Graduate Apprenticeship, you apply these skills immediately in real-world situations in the workplace, and learn how to seamlessly integrate business systems to support your organisation. You will develop a unique hybrid skill-set all while studying for a fully-funded university degree through a paid job.

 

This Graduate Apprenticeship combines theory and practice, and develop your career in the broad area of IT with a background of business operations, procedures and culture applicable to a career in IT in a business environment. You will develop problem solving, personal and interpersonal skills enabling you to work closely with employees in non-IT related areas of an organisation. You will also enhance your management and business knowledge and be equipped with project management and delivery experience in a practical, work-based setting in relation to IT. Development of this unique blend of skills will underpin an ability to keep your technical skills up-to-date in a fast-changing discipline, including an appreciation of the need for continuing professional development.

Our Graduate Apprentices will typically initially work in job roles such as IT Support, Helpdesk, Technician, and Application Support.
