Bachelor of Humanitarian Aid and Development

Hands-on experience matters in the industry, which is why you'll complete a two-week intensive unit at our Casuarina campus in Darwin. This will give you the knowledge and practical skills to work in humanitarian assistance.

In your final year, you'll also complete a 400-hour placement with a community-based, humanitarian or development aid organisation in Australia or overseas. International placements are available with industry partners, including in the Asia Pacific.

With an unprecedented number of displaced people across the world seeking life-saving relief, there is a growing need for skilled and trained humanitarian and development aid workers. This degree will give you the knowledge and skills to provide support for those affected by man-made and natural disasters, poverty and social injustice.
