General

Program


Major - 24 advanced semester hours


Twenty-four semester hours at the advanced level

6 hours from:


Elective - 3 hours


Minor


Minor to be selected in a field acceptable to the chairs of the major and minor programs.

Note:


Students pursuing a major or minor in Spanish have the option to receive up to 12 advanced semester credit hours through participation in an intensive Spanish language training institution facilitated through the MSU Office of International Education.  All credit will be awarded by Midwestern State University through the Department of World Languages and Cultures.  Courses will be focused on language, culture, and the profession of the student’s corresponding major.  In order to be eligible for this option, a minimum of six semester credit hours must be attained through courses taught by MSU faculty online or on campus, or through special permission from the Chair of the World Languages and Cultures Department.
