Family Nurse Practitioner

The Family Nurse Practitioner graduate program provides students with opportunities to practice as an FNP, meeting the requirements for advanced practice established by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. The program has had a 100% pass rate for National Certification Examinations for the last five years. Often, our FNP students are employed before their graduation date.

NOTE: The Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner graduate programs admit students in the fall. The priority application deadline is April 1.

Application requirements must be submitted to the Office of Admissions.
• Application to McAda Graduate School
• $50 Application Fee
• Official Transcripts (from all institutions attended other than MSU)
• Application to Nursing Program

• Online (with periodic campus visits)*
