Curriculum
Undergraduate electrical engineering students at CU Denver are exposed to the breadth of the field through a curriculum that is aligned with industry needs. Throughout the entire course of study, students' understanding of theory will be reinforced through laboratory experiences and design projects. In lecture courses, design procedures will be enhanced through the use of computer-aided design and simulation programs.
To complete the bachelor of science in electrical engineering, students must complete 128 credit hours, including:
- 24 credit hours of CU Denver core curriculum coursework
- 30 credit hours of required math and basic science
- 74 credit hours of electrical engineering courses

EE Scholars Program: Electrical Engineering BS/MS
The Electrical Engineering (EE) Scholars Program provides high-performing and motivated undergraduate students the opportunity to begin graduate work at the master’s level while completing the undergraduate degree in electrical engineering. This accelerates the time to obtain a graduate degree for the student, saving both time and expense.
