Students may choose to complete 18 hours of Program Coordinator Approved Community Health Concentration Electives with a C or better or students may choose a university approved major as described in the statement below. With advisor assistance students may choose electives that would meet graduate school nursing pre-requisites.

 An 18 semester hour minor area of study is required.  Advisor approval is required.  Students may select from current UAB approved minor areas of study.  Recommended minors include: Human Services, Criminal Justice, Spanish and Psychology.  The requirements for the selected minor must be completed in their entirety.
