Health Informatics
Master of Science in Health Informatics
The MSHI Program follows a Core/Track model which consists of a total of 45 semester hours. 28 semester hours are taken in the core Informatics courses. The remaining 17 semester hours are taken in one of three specialty tracks (Healthcare Data Analytics, Healthcare User Experience, and Research).
The MSHI Program allows students to earn only two grades of "C" during their time in the program. Upon earning a third grade of "C," the student may be dismissed from the program , depending on the final GPA. In all cases, in the program GPA is lower than 3.0, the student is placed on academic probation or dismissed from the program. Any final grade of "F" or below in any course will result in dismissal from the program.
