BIS 6301 (3-3-0) Agile Leadership
Agile Leadership is about being the change of an organization. These leaders exhibit greater openness to ideas and innovations. They possess all of the tools necessary to successfully inspire others and become an agent for change within any organization; with a passion for learning, a focus on developing people, and a strong ability to define and communicate a desired vision, they embrace (rather than fear) failures as part of the journey to success. Agile leaders possess a higher level of emotional intelligence, they understand individuals work with their emotions, and to achieve more of their potential, the emotions are an important part of the human experience. These leaders will lead by example and actively engage in their own development while inspiring others. They value high quality thinking which will result in meaningful action viewing problems from many different angles taking input from those closest to the problem to ensure continual touch with reality. Agile leaders are purposeful, intentional, and goal driven; they must understand what is in the hearts and minds of others and to unify/align those values into inspired action. This competency-based course will develop transformational leaders with an agile mindset who will inspire others for impact through communication, commitment, and collaboration.

BIS 6302 (3-3-0) Strategic Branding
Why do certain brands resonate with our psyche? Why do some brands stand out from the crowded marketplace? This course will explore what constitutes a great band. How do organizations uncover their brand identity? How can firms leverage their brand identity and create a marketing campaign around the uniqueness? This course seeks to guide participants in answering these questions in order to build/maximize organizational “best practices.” How can firms establish and maintain an emotional connection to their consumers? This course will assist participants in developing competencies through research and practical application specifically to align with what great companies do to leverage a strong brand, and to build a strategy around which will reach the hearts and minds of their consumers. Participants will become catalysts for organization-wide change, uncover patterns that compose disruptive innovation, gain understanding around the competitive dynamics of technology, identify future threats to ongoing growth, and hone competencies in how to create strategic opportunities that outpace competition.

BIS 6303 (3-3-0) Data-Driven Decisions
This course will explore marketing analytics as the practice of measuring, managing, and analyzing marketing performance in order to maximize its effectiveness and optimize return in investment. Beyond the obvious sales and lead generation applications, data-driven decisions can offer profound insights into customer preferences and trends. Despite these compelling benefits, a majority of organizations fail to realize the promises of these types of analytics. This course will do deep dives to gain insight about the organizations and their specific best practices in order to build a strategy around data-driven decision- making that will fit within any industry, organization, and culture.

BIS 6304 (3-3-0) Capstone Project
Innovation is not limited to the realm of the high-tech industry. This course will bring together all facets of creativity and innovation. In a world with increasingly complex technological shifts, leaders who implement change must spark creativity and drive innovation throughout their respective organizations. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to apply innovation and creativity competencies in the workplace within any industry and culture.
