About the course
The MSc Manufacturing Management programme is designed to provide a rigorous and systematic understanding of the field, equipping students with the critical awareness and knowledge required to become a credible manufacturing management professional.
The programme provides a balance of theory, practice and participation, focusing on:
- the broad areas of product design for manufacturing and supply chain, sustainable materials, applied lean process design, smart manufacture and asset management, logistics and operations strategy, procurement and inventory management, and continuous improvement and quality management.
- design orientated tasks, including analysis and synthesis, to develop relevant and applicable procedures and processes to resolve technical and ultimately business problems.

The Advanced Project award aims to develop key employment and professional development skills that you will need to seek employment. You will learn how to deliver successful projects and develop strategies for successful employment after graduation.
