Children’s Nursing, BSc Hons (Degree Apprenticeship))

Our children’s nursing degree apprenticeship offers a balance of practice-based and academic learning to enhance your skills and knowledge in nursing.

 

Our pre-registration Children's Nursing Apprenticeship Degree provides the knowledge and skills to work as a Registered Nurse as part of a team in various hospital and primary care settings. These include intensive care, general children's hospital wards, the community, and other specialist areas of child nursing or health.

 

The course leads to a bachelor's degree (BSc Hons) over either three or four years of study at university and in the workplace. Please note that the 3-year course is full-time throughout the course. The four-year course is full-time in years one and two, part-time in years three and four.

 

Apprentices can benefit from a wide range of training opportunities and our excellent reputation for delivering health and social care education. This course delivers the Registered Nurse (NMC 2018) Degree Apprenticeship Standard ST0781 and End Point Assessment Plan listed on the Institute for Apprenticeships website.

 

Applicants should agree in advance with their employer Education/Apprenticeship Lead which course they will be applying for.
