BSN Nursing Program Admission Requirements

  • Completed University of Bridgeport application
  • University of Bridgeport School of Nursing supplemental application
  • Cumulative G.P.A of 3.0 or higher
  • Successful completion of required pre-requisites within 7 years with a C+ or better: English Composition, Introduction to College Algebra and Statistics, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2, Sociology, Psychology, Lifespan Development, Elective, First Year Seminar or related Liberal Arts elective
  • Transcripts from any colleges/universities attended
  • Proof of high school completion or its equivalent
  • Personal Statement
  • TEAS test
  • 2 Recommender Forms

Bachelor’s in Nursing Classes

The UBSN overall BSN curriculum plan illustrates the required sequencing of classes for an academic year. Each course is a prerequisite to the next course in a sequence. Nursing courses run concurrently within a semester. Students must achieve a “C+” (77) or better in all nursing courses to progress in the BSN nursing program and to graduate.
