Midwifery Apprenticeship (3 years) is a highly trained role to support the delivery of effective, safe and responsive care to women. This apprentice course will enable you to develop the knowledge, understanding, skills and behaviours to practise as a registered midwife and achieve professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). You will also be awarded a BSc (Hons) Midwifery degree as the course is founded on the NMC Standards for Pre-Registration Midwifery Education (NMC, 2019).

 

Midwives provide care and support to women and their families during all stages of pregnancy, including delivery of the baby and care and support in the labour and the postnatal period.
