DESCRIPTIONNonprofit Administration majors develop the leadership skills necessary to create positive social change. Students learn strategies for the analysis of complex issues affecting nonprofit organizations, along with tools to engage and manage volunteers. Nonprofit Administration majors enhance problem-solving skills and learn effective management concepts which can be applied to the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. WHAT CAREERS CAN THIS MAJOR PREPARE YOU FOR?Graduates hold managerial and administrative roles nonprofit organizations, public sector agencies, and private companies. HOURS REQUIRED FOR DEGREEMinimum hours required for the degree: 120 Minimum hours required for major: 33 MAJOR-FIELD REQUIREMENTSIn addition to the major requirements listed below, students must fulfill all College of Urban Affairs Undergraduate Degree requirements, including completion of UST 200, UST 404, UST 405, and UST 490. Nonprofit Administration majors are required to complete a minimum of 33 credit hours from the following courses: A. REQUIRED COURSES (8 COURSES)
