INFORMATION

A Minor in Physics provides a greater exposure to physics than can be provided in the introductory physics courses. It also a great path towards enhancing the analytical skills of all majors. The Physics Minor curriculum provides a seamless transition to the BA and BS in Physics.

PHYSICS MINOR REQUIREMENTS

Minimum hours required for the minor: 19

1. THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED PHYSICS COURSES:

• PHY 243 - University Physics I (Writing) OR 

  PHY 243H H: University Physics I - Honors

   OR 

  PHY 241 University Physics I

• PHY 244 - University Physics II (Writing) OR 

  PHY 244H H: University Physics II - Honors

   OR 

  PHY 242 University Physics II

2. AT LEAST 9 CREDITS OF 300- AND 400-LEVEL PHYSICS COURSES.
