Why Earn Your Global Studies Degree at Saint Leo University?

At 18 credit hours, this minor will prepare students to be competitive in fields that address international concerns. By completing coursework in this minor, students will gain an understanding of how political and economic policies impact societies while improving their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Additionally, students will better understand the complex, interdisciplinary challenges brought about by climate change, and learn new lessons about human rights, globalization, and immigration.

A Global Studies minor enhances any major by providing students with an understanding of the dynamics of globalization and giving them tools to address global issues in whatever career they destine themselves for.  The minor is particularly recommended for students majoring in any business discipline, in Political Science, or in Criminal Justice, and for any other student interested in pursuing a career abroad.
