This course gives you the skills and knowledge you need to work as a manager or leader an operational level.

 

You'll start with the essential fundamentals of business. This includes basic accounting principles, interpreting financial performance and economic theory. You'll also cover fundamentals of commercial law, organisational management and communication and marketing. 

 

This strand then focuses on topics that will improve your knowledge and skill in leadership and management.

 

Once you complete your New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 5) Leadership and Management, you can continue study towards the Bachelor of Applied Management (Business Management).
