The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science with a Specialism in Data Analytics is designed for students who wish to develop advanced computing expertise while specialising in big data, predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, business intelligence, and statistical modelling. The programme combines core computer science principles with practical data analytics techniques to prepare graduates for the rapidly growing data-driven economy.

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science with a Specialism in Data Analytics continues to be offered as a 3-year full-time programme with 28 September 2026 and 24 November 2026 intakes.


Students benefit from the APU–DMU Dual Degree Scheme, the SAS–APU Joint Professional Certificate in Computer Science and Data Analytics, and access to industry-supported learning resources. APU is also establishing a next-generation AI Supercomputing Lab powered by NVIDIA DGX Spark systems, providing students with advanced AI and large language model (LLM) computing capabilities.


Applicants who do not meet the required Additional Mathematics requirement may be required to complete a Pre-Requisite Further Mathematics module during the first semester.
