The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science (Cyber Security) is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills to protect computer systems, networks, digital infrastructure, and sensitive information against evolving cyber threats. The programme combines core Computer Science principles with specialised cyber security training covering ethical hacking, secure systems development, cyber defence, digital forensics, cyber psychology, network security, cloud security, and incident response.
Students learn through hands-on laboratory sessions, Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, cyber security simulations, industry-led projects, research activities, and a compulsory 16-week Industrial Internship. The curriculum aligns with Industry Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0) and prepares graduates for careers in one of the world's fastest-growing technology sectors. Eligible students may also graduate under the APUāDe Montfort University (DMU) Dual Degree Scheme, receiving internationally recognised qualifications.
